Old Fashion Ice Cream Theme...?!
Our family reunion will have an old fashion ice cream theme!. Please share any tips, decorating ideas, kids & adult games etc!. Include any interesting websites!. Best answer gets top points!

What a cool theme!
I would go with the colors of pink and white and accent with black! Those are just the colors that remind me of a sweet shop/ice cream parlor, but of course, that's up to you and your family!
I would do some tables and chairs, like the round tables with chairs, clusters of balloons and some streamers!.
Set up an ice cream bar of course! Lots of ice cream flavors, chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, mint chocolate chip, buttercream, etc, whatever you and your family likes, go with! Then have LOTS of toppings! Sprinkles, chocolate syrup, caramel sauce, whipped cream, marachino cherries, cookies like crushed oreos, crushed nuts, candies, m&m's, skittles, etc, You can go to the dollar store and get those tall, plastic sundae glasses!.
For games, you can do relay races, potato sack races, three legged races, wheelbarrel races (where one person stands and holds the other person's ankle's and they race to the finish line)!.
You can do a pie eating contest, but instead of pie, fill the pie tins with whipped cream and whoever finishes first wins!
You can also do cotton candy and popcorn!.
You can do an ice cream tasting contest where they have to taste different flavors and name that flavor, but make it newer flavors so it's harder!.
You can also serve Lemonade and pink lemonade(which is regular lemonade with grenadine added) and iced tea!.

Round up as many ice cream makers as you can - and make different flavors of homemade ice cream!. Set out toppings on a Sundae Buffet table !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. We used to go to this old-time ice cream store (Farrell's) and they did everything in red & white checked, with black "ice cream tables & chairs" !.!.!.!. and the waiters dressed like Barbershop Quartets ("Gay 90's) !.!.!.!.!.!.Actually, I think the Gay 90's predates ice cream sundaes (I believe at the St!.
