I'm in New York BlackLight parties are big here! All lights out and nothing but black lights and as you know white clothes look insane in black lights so you can tell everyone to wear dark colors and just your closest friends wear white (just a little of course) while you make an entrance in ALL WHITE!. You can also give out glow sticks, braceletes, and necklaces etc!.

Since you are probably a high school student, throw an anti-prom!. Tell guests that they must NOT bring dates, and even couples must arrive separately!. Encourage guests to go to thrift shops and get the tackiest formal wear they can find, and offer a prize for the person voted worst dressed!. Tell guests that there will be no vote for prom queen because you are crowning yourself!. Use the silliest theme for a prom you can think of such as Pokemon, Ninja Turtles, Hello Kitty ect!. also, putting a small block of dry ice in a punch bowl makes a really cool effect!.
