What is your favorite food to eat at a party?

i am haveing a party and need to know what to serve.

Savoury Vol au Vants
Vegetable Sticks

Fresh veggies & ranch dip.

I've made this as one of the main foods for my sister's party, every1 loved it. hope u like it 2:
Ingredients:

* 1 Chicken breast, diced
* ? Green Chilli, finely chopped
* 1 Lime, juice
* 2 tbsp Soy sauce
* 1/2 tsp Sugar
* ? Orange, juice
* 1 tbsp Sesame oil
* 1/2 tbsp Sesame oil for frying

Method:

* Mix the Chicken with chilli, sugar, lime juice, soy sauce, orange juice and sesame oil in a bowl until chicken is coated.
* Skewer the chicken onto wooden skewers.
* Cook the chicken skewers in a hot frying pan with a little oil for a few minutes, turning frequently, until cooked through.
* Remove from the heat and serve the kebabs.

it depends on what type of party, but generally, people jove finger foods, i usually go to costco or some other wherehouse store and get the big bags of appetizer foods: buffalo wings, jalapeno poppers, fried cheese sticks, taquitos, etc. all of these type of things are super easy to prpare many at once, most are about 20min at 425 degrees and bam, insta yummies.

Little smokies in 1/2 grape jelly 1/2 chili sauce
hot Jimmy Dean and a can of Nacho Cheese soup(make) dip
boiled shrimp
Crab dip
Cream cheese and pineapple sandwiches
Cream cheese w/ pepper jelly
Cream cheese w/ crab meat and Chili sauce on top
Hot wings
Swedish Meatballs
I could go on forever it seems

I too like finger foods, but you should make potato salad, hot dogs, chili dogs, hamburgers, and macoroni salad!

Hot crab dip with french bread, carrots and celery
Best Of The Chesapeake Crab Dip
8 oz cream cheese
dash Tabasco sauce
1/4 cup sour cream
1/2 lb crab meat
3 Tbs mayonnaise
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2-3 Tbs Old Bay seasoning
Mix together cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, Worcestershire, Old Bay, and Tabasco. Gently stir in crab meat. Place in a baking dish and bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese and Old Bay and bake again about 15 minutes or until bubbly. Serve with crackers, toasted french bread, etc.
