NASCAR racing 1998 season?

in Nascar racing 1998 season produced by Sierra when i go into turns i cant get my car to turn at all, it turns a little ebcause of the turn assits but hits the wall i nthe middle of the turn, same without the assist, whats a good garage setup where i can turn down low near the white line, and go decently fast, i mtired of coming in last or wrecking in the beginning of the race =(
