Answers:
My friend Rachel had a "sweet" theme (it was actually a surprise party). She decorated with bright colors and had candy bouqets and treats EVERYWHERE! She hung up pictures of herself over the years mounted in bright paper all around the house. Everyone was given a little blank scrapbook page before the party to decorate with pictures of them with Rachel, and to write a note. Then her mom put together a scrapbook for her. There was Dance Dance Revolution, karaoke, volleyball and trampoline outside. Very simple with a low budget, but way fun.

do nothing. plan a nice quiet trip out of town.

Why not have a sweet sixteen birthday party, and for entertainment, have karaoke night and the best singer gets a small gift, like you can go and get a couple of tee shirts and give them out for the winner and the runner upper.

candy theme
whatever your fav color is you wear that and everybody else wears white
under the sea
costume party .... ex..my name is Katie so everybody wears a costume the starts with the letter K.... knight, king, kissing booth

Since a lot of young girls s\are into the AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL do that theme. Do invites that are themes like an awrds show or something, telling all the guests to come as their favorite star or model (tyra banks, jay z, madonna, christina anyone they like that's hot right now) Buy a bunch of those disposable cameras and site them around, get a long red rug or runner (party city) and as guests arrive have the others all stand around and snap there photos, like a paparazzi shoot. This will also give lots of memories you may miss by being stationary. Serve sparkling grape juice or ginger ale in plastic champagne glasses and lots of small appetizers (mini burgers, little smokie, small salads finger foods that look like they should be backstage at an awards show) Then have them cast votes for the best costume or most believable, and give away a small gift or crown or something. Maybe have a talent section set aside where you may get jay z imposter to lip sync one of his songs. Hope this helps, have fun.
