Make little spiders that look like george bush!

Look at the 'First For Women' magazine on stands now. They have brilliant ideas for serving up Halloween foods, like the ones you mentioned. It's only $1.99 and you'll get so many ideas, you won't be disappointed.

severed fingers I found this tip in Taste of Home. Take hotdogs and carve out a fingernail, make three cross shallow cuts to make knuckles. They look creepy and taste great! go to tasteofhome.com

Check out Pillsbury.com - they have some adorable hot dog mummies, cinnamon roll bats, shepherd's pie with ghosts (peas for eyes), etc. For your punch, put some dry ice in there so it creates a fog!

Depending on your theme. I'm not big into eating chocolate spiders out of bloody raspberry cookie skulls, and that's why whenever we host a halloween party, we just theme it with something else (tropical, fancy european, etc). Whenever we did the tropical theme we bought 100 banana leafs and everyone had to eat on top of them shapped as a cone!, of course, there was nothing soupy. lol It was fun and everyone loved it, including the pineapple cake. Then again, it depends on what your theme is.

How about cutting out a pumpkin, gutting it out and putting the food in that and using it as a serving dish? Not something you see every day. =)

You can put a fake head on a platter and put the meatball eyes and the chicken fingers on... get a witch cauldron those jack o lantern buckets for their favorite topping and ice cream....

Pillsbury makes great little books you can find in your grocery store check out lane. I make a shepards pie and take mashed potatoes and make little piles on teh top and take peas for eyes. A simple dinner with a ghostly touch. Also check out Allrecipes.com

My son had a Halloween wedding last year, and one of the things we did was got these little green zombie hand picks and used them in dips so they looked like a hand was reaching up out of the dip. We used dry ice to make it foggy spooky on the table and draped the whole table cloth in a spider web on top of a black cloth. Then we placed small spiders in amongst the web all over. It was really spooky and cute at the same time.
