I am preparing for an engagement party I need about 50 chicken kabobs but don't have time to grill that day , how can I precook them or make them a day aheadWww@FoodAQ@Com

I would not cook the veggies ahead because they will become discolored and mushy when you reheat them!. I suggest that you marinade the chicken chunks and cook it ahead!. Then make the kabob skewers with the fresh veggies and cooked chicken the night before and refrigerate!. Use cherry tomatoes and green peppers, they bake up really fast!. Cover with foil and put them in the oven about 1/2 hour before the event!. Hopefully you have a decent size oven with which you can bake them all at the same time!. I hope this helps!. We make a ton of kabob at our Egyptian restaurant!. It's labor intensive and you really can't fudge the fresh veggies!. Sounds like you're planning well in advance so it'll be great!Www@FoodAQ@Com
You can grill in advanced and then just quickly cook them a little to heat them up on the day of the party!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Trader Joe's has the bomb kabobs! Six to a pack!.!.!.!.I just used them for a party and they were a huge hit!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Use your ovens broiler!. I wouldn't precook them, they'll be dry the next day when you reheat them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
