What can I serve for an outdoor elegant engagement party menu?!

Question: What can I serve for an outdoor elegant engagement party menu!?
Answers:
Are you thinking just appetizers or a sit down menu!?

If you're just doing app's and have a good selection of seafood available, I would do a raw bar, supplemented with sushi and cold shrimp cocktail!.

If you don't have that kind of seafood available, but still want just app's, then I would do an assortment of things - cheese tray, sushi platter, crudite platter, smoked salmon, bruschetta, ceviche, seared scallops with a balsamic reduction!.!.!.those types of things!.

If you're thinking dinner, a number of the above would work for appetizers, such as scallops or shrimp cocktail!.

If you're considering soup, I would go with a cold roasted tomato soup or a chilled gazpacho or even a cucumber soup!.

Salad - a nice mix of field greens with walnuts and pears with a vinaigrette!. A touch of crumbled Gorgonzola would be nice too!.

Main - Poached salmon with a dill cream sauce or beef tenderloin with a bernaise sauce or pork tenderloin with a marsala sauce!.

Dessert - Fresh fruit and berries with a dollop of freshly whipped cream and a light drizzle of lemon glaze, or creme brulee is always a hit!

You can serve a cheese tray at the end too, if you'd like!.

I hope that at least helps inspire you!Www@FoodAQ@Com
