Green Food?!

Question:

Green Food?

I'm having a "Green Fifteen" birthday party (NOTE: the theme is the color green and the party won't have anything to do with environmentalism). I need ideas for what to serve for dinner (creative ways to incorporate green into the food) and what to serve on a side table. Please and thank you.

Appetizers:
Broccoli, pepper strips, and snow pea pods with dill dip (tint it green if you like).
Tortilla chips with spicy guacamole.
Crackers with spinach dip.

Someone above mentioned pesto pasta, that would be a good entree. You can have a tossed salad of mixed greens and split pea soup for starters.
Have fun--anyone not invited will be GREEN with envy!!

Well here are all the food that I thought of that are green.Hopefully you can come up with something out of this

1.Jell-O
2.String Beans
3.Broccoli
4.Brussel sprouts
5.Lettuce
6.Forsting
7.Jelly beans and other candies
8.Kool-Aid

also you can always use green food coloring and just turn your food and drinks green.

Here's another idea. You can use food color to color cake and frostings for your desert. Also, a good way to incorporate green into your main food could be sandwich wraps with green tortillas. You can fill them with ham turkey or veggie type of stuff.

Chives, basil leaves or mint is a good topping to any non green side dish. As far as veggies, asparagus tips or broccoflower will compliment most main courses.

Limes and Kiwi are green so that's a good basis for any of your drinks. Maybe green lime-ade or a kiwi frozen drink would be good. Honeydew melons are also green.

Celery with spinach dip would be good.

If you use green food coloring you can make about any dip green.
