Chips and dip, fruits and veggies cut up, small finger sandwiches, meatballs and of course the cake.

cater from the local chinese fast food.. kids would love the noodles.

Mainly finger foods should work like chicken fingers ,cheese sticks and cut up veggies and little crackers and a few spreads should work.

why dont u celeberate in any ethnic restaurant or chuckee cheese. The price will be reasonable.

Make her cakes, one little one for her and one for the rest of the people served with ice cream

cake & pizza

If your family wouldn't get offended, I would ask them each to bring a food dish. Your supplying the cake, ice cream and party favors. I don't think that is asking too much. Either that or do like what the other girls said. Go to a Pizza Hut and they will furnish almost everything (for a price of-course). Any way you go it doesn't matter. Your baby's first birthday is something you will always cherish and remember...., and she won't. So take a lot of pictures. Have fun! Maybe you could start a scrapbook of things for her b'thday from you....?......

you could do pizza and cake, you could get deli meat/bread
you can do snack types ideas, chicken fingers, triscuit pizzas, nachos and dip, cheese crackers or baked zita/italian bread/meatballs

nothings is cheap but if you don't want to do the finger sandwiches and horsdouver thing then how about sloppy Joe's. chips and macaroni salad. maybe a jello and fruit salad. People usually ask it they could bring something . Let them

I just ordered a bunch of pizzas, made a coldcut platter myself and made a salad and had a cake. Keeping it simple and not too many dishes helps with your sanity and budget!

If money is tight, cheese and crackers and chips and dip are an idea and add a small veg platter. Sausage and peppers is cheap to make and if you cut the sausage into small pieces, a little goes a long way. Serve with small rolls. You could also order a 6 foot pre-made sub from your local quick check or grocer for about $30.00. Cold cut platter and potato and or mac salad is good too. Whatever you decide, hope the party is a success.
