I would go with your husband's favorite's food!. What does HE like!? Steak, chicken, etc!? What vegetables does he like!? Does he like potatoes or rice, and what's his favorite dessert!?

Being this is a dinner about him, go with what he likes!. You know him better than anyone here, go with what you know!. If you know he loves steak, go with that!. You can do any number of things!. If you know he's not into the fancier foods and is more of a simple eater, stick with those foods!. If he likes steak, potatos and a veggie you're better off doing that then getting fancy, he'll only pick it apart and not eat half of it and you'll be upset that you went to all the hard work to make it special!.

You can make it special in other ways!. Do up the table in a formal way!. Turn off the overhead lights and go with candles and the clear stringed Christmas lights around the area that you'll be eating in!. It will add a much more ambient mood than blaring overhead kitchen/dining room lights!. You can even set up a picnic dinner on the livingroom floor!.

You can also have some roses set up by the table, soft music playing in the background, dress your best, perfume, etc!.

For dessert, have his favorites, and don't forget the champagne!

I hope these ideas help and that you and your hubby have a great night together!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would go with a bacon wrapped Filet Mignon with baby roasted garlic potatoes, salad and dinner roles!. I would pick a red wine to go with it!. After a dinner like that your going to want a nice light dessert, maybe New York style cheesecake!. I have attached a few websites to give you a variety of ideas!.
If your going to do candle light!.!.!.make sure you have enough candles to actually have enough light to see what you are eating!.
I like to do a centerpiece that has a variety of different size candles instead of the standard 2 tapered candles!. Have cloth napkins instead of paper!. Since I am not a wine expert I also included a website that may help you pick the wine you want with whatever you choose to serve!.

Bon Appetit!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here's what I would serve for a romantic dinner:

Grilled bacon wrapped filet mignon
Scalloped potatoes (use the ones in the box if you don't know how to do it from scratch!.!.!.they're fine)
Glazed carrots (baby carrots steamed until tender, then drain and simmer in butter and brown sugar)

for dessert!.!.!.mixed berries with a dollop of whipped cream, served in a champagne glass or grilled pineapple slices

PS: If you're planning a little lovemaking with this dinner!.!.!.do NOT serve anything gassy like beans or broccoli and whatever you do!.!.!.no asparagus!. Those foods make semen taste bad!. Fruits, like pineapple, make it sweeter!.
Seriously!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

chicken is the go serve with rice and some light vegetables maybe spinach and carrots with corn (not on the cob)or a stir fry white wine not red never serve red wine with white meat potatos are too heavy in the stomach dont make the servings big and go a cheese cake or mousse for dessert dont use candles because they make ppl tired instead dim the lights or if you cant leave the lights on play slow music softly or some jazz best advice i can give you avoid red meats first date you dont want your date getting the bloated feeling from heavy foods that way you casn still get some if you can impress with your culinary skills!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
