Answers:
I have some cool ideas for a luau party that you could use:

- Invitations cut out in the shape of a pineapple from colored construction paper (adding glitter, flowers, whatever you want!).
- Decorating the place you'll be having the party with hibiscus flowers, palm trees, pineapples, hula dancers, and etc.
- Tell everyone to dress in their bathing suits and pass out grass skirts (don't have to be fancy, just simple!).
- Play limbo to see who can get down the lowest, hula hooping to see who can go for the longest, dance contests, and all that jazz for prizes like simple jewelry or regular party favors.
- Hand out leis (the necklaces with flowers on them you always see in hawaii) to all the invited when they arrive.
- Make a fruit tray with watermelon, kiwis, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, melons, grapes, oranges and whatever else you'd like.
- Perhaps play a CD with reggae and beach music to add to the mood?
- Goody bags full of candy/pin-on hair flowers or leis.
- BBQ chicken, or something that the kids would like? 7 year olds tend to be picky eaters. Perhaps just hotdogs and hamburgers would do.
- Perhaps sherbert ice cream would be good as dessert, something fruity like pineapple, orange or raspberry. It'd also make a good float.
- Make shakes? Strawberry smoothies would be cool.
- A punch bowl of Sherley Temple (orange juice, ginger ale and a touch of grenadine should do - oh, and of course you'd have to put little umbrellas and cherries on them!)

That's pretty much all I have to add but I'll add more later if I think of it.

Here are some good treats;

You could decorate these with Hawaiin edible flowers

Games; You could make Luau necklaces with fake flowers and beads.

Luau... hmmmm...

Games - Limbo, hula dances, karoke, pin-the-coconut on the tree (variation of pin the tail on the donkey), palm tree pinata (I know it's Latino, but it's fun)

Food - drinks with umbrellas, hawaiian pizza, coconut cream pie, fruit tray with pineapples and other tropical fruits

Party favors - leis, a real coconut, puka shell neckaces, little surf boards

you could have Hawaiian lays with candy strung on them. You could get one of those mini blow up pools that they could swim in while you prepare the food. You could have some bacon and say that you actually just got done roasting it over a fire. Maybe some pineapple would be good. They also make Hawaiian rolls which are like a dinner roll with Honey butter on it. They are dilish. hope i helped BYE

Games:
Limbo
Decorating Lanterns or other decorations
"Dress up" and Kodak photos for them to take home with them. Decorate an area and provide grass skirts and other themed stuff for them to pose with.
Lei toss? Like horse shoes but with leis
Hula Dancing freeze game.

Food:
Hawaiian punch, Ham and Pineapple kebabs, Goldfish

Party Favors:
Leis, anything they've decorated, Kodak photos,
