What dessert and wine would match this menu?!

Question:

What dessert and wine would match this menu?

So far, my menu for a Saturday dinner consists of the following:

Turkey cutlets
Roasted potatoes
Tossed salad
Sourdough bread

Can anyone suggest a dessert and wine (preferably red) that would fit with these?

Answers:
Pinot Noir

Cherries are in season - how about a simple dessert with fresh cherries like ice cream or brownies with a warm cherry sauce

Well, since your serving poultry you have to serve a white wine, proper etiquette you know. (sniff, sniff) As far as the desert goes something with fruit would be good such as; strawberry short cake, bananas foster, etc.

A nice Pinot Noir would do, also a Beaujolais.
On Dessert: A Creme Brulee be nice with a Tawny Porto.......
and a Espresso afterwards !!!!!

The classic pairing with turkey is Pinot Noir. Typical pinot noir flavors include earth, leather, vanilla (from the oak), and jam ... the fruity flavors of the jam often taste like raspberry, strawberry, and plum. This would also go great with goose.
You can also serve a sweet wine to complement your turkey, like a dry Riesling (excellent) or Chardonnay. A pumpkin mousse or apple pie (ala mode) would finish off the meal perfectly.

Cheers!
