she is going away to australia to study and i want to throw her agood bye party. The thing is that 1. i have never thrown a party befoe in my life and 2 she goes out with people who arent my friends so i dont know how or if to invite them or who to invite. any advice??

call friends that hang out with you and her and let them know that you are throwing a good-bye party for them. invite the two other ppl as well.. show that you are willing to be nice.
plan the party with serveral persons that know her and you.
have it at someones house it doesn't have to be in disneyland or anything just make sure you have lots of food and drinks with a big sign that says "We will miss you!" if you can.. make a slide show with pictures of her & all of your friends from the past with a nice happy song. well if that's too much then juss get a bunch of old pictures and make an album & give it to her at the end of the party
make sure you have fun games @ the party as well such as board games like Ouija or game systems with party games like mario parties.
Hire a stripper.
