How about this one PROMISE? Should you tip the?!

Question:

How about this one PROMISE? Should you tip the?

carhop at Sonic ? If yes, How much?

Answers:
you can, generally 1-2 dollars depending on what you spend. they are actually serving you but not waiting on you. they get paid min wage also (unlike waiters at a restaurant). i use to work at sonic so tips are always welcomed :) .

If you feel like tipping, I think at least $1.50-$2.00 is good...but I'm a bit of an over-tipper because I can relate to them (I used to be a commissary bagger).

yes, 10 percent.

Yeah, I know you may feel like great another person to tip, but yes at least a buck or two. If you have the extra money hand them a $5 for them and watch yourself make someone very happy.

These people are not in a tip position. They don't rely on you. However if someone goes over and above the call of duty, there is nothing wrong with acknowledging it. The tip is at your discretion. But make it a memorable one. A five spot still makes one!

I always tell them to keep the change or I add a 1.00 Back in the good days my wife was a car hop on roller skate.

Yes, at least a$, but 15per cent would be better. That's hard work!!!

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS...

Yes, tip them according to service and pleasantness to the customer.

sew

I think it depends on what you get, if you just stop in for a soda its a "keep the change" kinda thing, anything else i would say ten to 15% is nice.
