Shaving armpits....?!

Question:

Shaving armpits....?

Should guys shave them and why do some women don't?

Answers:
One of my guy friends does. He does it because when you're surfing, the hair can cause chafing.

I think it looks stupid when guys do it. But if you have a reason (surfing, swimming, whatever) then I guess it's ok.

Some women maybe don't because they don't think they should have to. Sort of, "if guys don't do it, why should I have to?" Or maybe they get lazy or forget or something.

All women I know do shave.

..uh.guys dont actually shave it.. it looks horrible for men, but others do for hygene,,.. women shave it coz its part of their femanine... wud u lyk ur girlfriend to have a jungle on her armpit???

?? as long as they DO NOT do it in the kitchen
The women are most likely vegetarians and are doing the "natural thing".

Are you shaving your armpits for entertainment?? I don't think girls or guys should shave their pits. Some women don't because we don't have to. I have a hippy friend who did an experiment one summer and shaved only one armpit. She sweated less and was less stinky on the unshaved armpit. If you never start shaving you'll never have to.

I don't think guys should, and it's a real pain in the behind to do it every day, but girls ought to. It looks so much nicer and more feminine.

I have been considering laser hair removal for my underarms because the everyday shaving irritates my skin.

Yes why not? its more hygenic, if someone says it looks stupid why is it that a woman should shave and a man can not? i have been shaving my armpits all my life and wouldnt have any other way.

Cultural--in parts of the world women do not shave, period. You have to respect other's cultures.

Er.... hell no! Girls shouldn't too.
