I need an idea for kids food.........?!

Question:

I need an idea for kids food.........?

This is the last night for Vaction bible school at my church. Me,and my mom are working in the kitchen, we have already had hotdogs, hamburgers, nachos and cheese, pizza and corn dogs. What else could we have that's fun for kids and simple? I also need a sweet idea for them too. We already had cotton candy, sno cones and popcorn. Help Please. Any neat ideas welcome. Thanks!

Answers:
get a huge tub (or 2) of vanilla ice cream, give em all a scoop and put out a few toppings for them to put on themselves. for food, i don't think the kids will care if you repeat something like pizza. Good Luck

You've already served hotdogs, but my kids love steamship franks.

Cut hotdogs lengthwise and place each on a side of an opened bun. Add cheddar cheese or cheese slice on top and bake until slightly crisp. They can dip them in ketchup or mustard.

My kids love these!

or how bout chicken nuggets?

I don't know what to feed them for a meal, for sweets, try strawberry pizzas, cookies, milkshakes, otter pops (that ones big at my VBS) Orangecicles (another big one), or maybe petzels

How about grilled cheese and soup with fruit sherbert for dessert?

mac & cheese
grilled cheese
chicken nuggets

rice crispy treats
cupcakes
cookies
brownies

rice crispie cakes are fun and easy to make for children...
basically u need Rice crispies... melting chocolate... and some cake cases...
simply melt the choclate and keep adding the rice crispies whilst stiring making sure all are covered in the choc.. you can add baby marsh mallows or smarties or something like that at this stage and then just spoon them into small cases... leave for bout 20 mins stick in fridge is bettr and hey presto...

Tacos! All kids love tacos and they can make it themselves if you just put everything out for them. Hard shell and soft shell tacos, meat, cheese, refried beans, lettuce, tomato.
And how about waffle bowls, ice cream and hot fudge. They can eat the bowl! Kids love that too.
Or, for less calories, how about Bomb Pops or Push-ups.
Hope you get some good ideas!

what about tacos. They can add their own extras like lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, guacomole.

Chicken Nuggets is also a hit and you can never go wrong with Pizza.

Ice cream sundaes would be a hit with the same concept...get all the fixins so they can make their own creation

Sloppy joes is also super easy...buns, meat, and manwich...kids love it... for something sweet, can't go wrong with cake or cupcakes...they love the frosting...

I think you have it about covered. Rice krispies are a great snack for kids.

How about macaroni and cheese? Make cupcakes for dessert.

Make different kinds of sandwiches and cut them out in different shapes. For something sweet you could make a mix with chex, mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, peanuts, m&m's.

You could have watermelon and cantalope. Cookies or cupcakes.
Celery sticks and baby carrots with dip. Or chips and dip. Soft pretzels. Goldfish crackers.

I have the perfect quick and easy treat and you can either make it a day ahead or have the kids participate as a fun activity.
It's called PB&J Sushi (if you're worried about allergies to peanuts, substitute marshmallow fluff or cream cheese.)
You cut the crusts off of plain white sliced bread and roll it out a little with a rolling pin. If the kids are doing it, make sure their hands are washed (or get them food service gloves) and have them flatten the bread with their hands. Cut (or carefully tear) each slice into four equal strips. Spread peanut butter (or substitute) jelly or jam (we LOVE strawberry) and roll like sushi rolls. Roll in sprinkles or tiny little candy decorations and stand up inside leftover Chinese food takeout trays. The finishing touch--top each with a Swedish or gummy fish.
Kids LOVE them. (and so do a lot of parents and grandparents.)
