Where can I buy cake star toppers like this? (link incl.)?!
My dad's 50th is next month and I've ordered a fabulous 3 tier cake but I'd like to add something like the stars in this picture http://www!.cakessince1982!.com/chocolate_!.!.!. does anyone know where I can purchase just the toppers!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

With the 4th of July coming up!.!.!.!.!.go to any good craft store and look around!.!.!.!.!.there are TONS of stars, on strings, sticks, etc, etc!. You might need to be a little creative and make it to your taste!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Most of these types of toppers are used with a craft wire FDA approved!. The stars are then cut from rolled colored fondant!. Some even use the luster dust to make them shiney!. They aren't to hard to roll and cut yourself, its getting them to stay on the wire that I have trouble with!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

check your local party stores- they should have something similar but maybe in the party decoration isle!. I would also check with the bakery making the cake- they should be able to make something like that out of fondant!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
