I have decided to have a pop star/ rock star/ music theme.

Here is an idea i attend one like this is way fun and does not call for alot of $$

1.Decorate everywhere with piles of Hershey's Kisses.
Hearts and roses make wonderful decorations for this birthday party theme.

2.Have a karaoke contest.

3.Formal is very appropriate for this birthday. Have your guests dress in black and white. (or your favorite color)

4.Try a nacho bar with all the fixin's.

5.Have a 16 question trivia game about the birthday boy/girl.

Hawaiian Luau Birthday Party Theme

1.Serve smoothies and other tropical drinks.

2.Palm trees and tikki torches add to the atmosphere.

3.Have a hula contest with guests wearing grass skirts.

4.Hand out a lei to each guest. You can make lei bracelets for a craft too.

5.Create a lagoon effect by hanging streamers in green, aqua and blue colors from the ceiling. Add a string of white lights for more of a glow.

6.Attach helium balloons to pineapples for a themed decoration.

One idea is to have a potluck. Have everyone bring their favourite dish, or do it on a dessert theme and have each guest bring their favourite dessert, and everyone eats everything. And as for the entertainment, I am a big fan of murder mysteries. You can buy one online for $40 that will include 10-20 people, and it can be the evening's entertainment, a whodunnit type thing.

Go to party stores and get stuff on clearance. It could be like a fairy party with snowflakes and stuff from their winter stock. You could use their decorated paper bags to put cheap candles in to line the walk to the house or even deco inside. You could rent old teenie movies like 16 candles or Mean Girls and do a slumber party with makeovers and glamour shots. :)

If you have the sleepover thing decorate your room with ballon's easy to make them look like the helium one's w/o spending the money , Blow up regular ballon's add the sting and tape to the ceiling, These are inexpensive at the dollar tree, Add some streamer's too but do the whole ceiling...Rent the scary movie's... to watch....spend the whole time in the room do make over's and watch movie's....Sam's has Nacho Chip's for 4 buck's and Nacho Cheese for 4 buck's and the tray's to serve them in for 5 buck's ... You could also have a Cheese ball that is very inexpensive....1 or 2 pkg's of Cream Cheese, 1 pkg of Ranch Mix, and Roll in 1 jar of bacon bit's , Serve with cracker's....Or have Strawberries w/ dip 1 large jar of Marshmellow Cream, 1 tub of cool whip, Tang to taste.... Make everything just to pig out on....Cake & Icecream
