Impress them by being yourself and sharing YOUR traditions. I was invited to a Philippine home for one of their holidays and they served their favorites - it was wonderful!!

If it were me, I would cook an old fashioned, traditional American Thanksgiving dinner, with turkey, ham, candied sweet potatoes, corn, mashed potatoes, dressing, gravy, cranberries, pumplin pie, maybe even the green bean casserole.
If you have never done this before, your guests are bound to be impressed.
My Mom and her sister made a corn casserole with crackers in it. I intend to go looking for it. It was good.
Some sites to help you are Martha Stewart.com, allrecipes.com, America's test kitchen.com. I mention these, because I am familiar with them, and have researched Thanksgiving recipes on them.
I saw somewhere, probably Martha, about wrapping the turkey up and then cooking it, for a brown crispy skin. I have not tried that, but it looked good!
The best dessert I ever made was Pecan-Pumpkin Pie.
I would definitely go traditional. You're inviting them into your culture on a holiday that is celebrated by ALL of out people, not one separated by religious beliefs. I think it will be one of their best memories they will ever have and never forget you for it.
Sharing and knowing others cultures and traditions is what brings us together, one people at a time. It's the ignorance of others cultures and traditions that keep this world separated and segregated.
Show them how we party. If you live close to a farm or orchard, take the women if possible, and show them that the celebration is in accordance with the harvest, and how we gather our harvest and celebrate by creating foods to enjoy and remind us of customs.

I have had people who try to do different things for thanksgiving, but I am still partial to the traditional Turkey, mashed taters, gravy, stuffing, corn, rolls, and pies....you can add other things to this like green bean casarole or other salads but I like to have that core of traditional fixings.
make a turkey or what ever you like your the cook they cant complain!
