Last-minute asian party ideas?!
My little sister is turning 8 tomorrow and she wants an asian theme so is there anything I could make for decoration or a game they could play!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

She and her friends can make their own sushi!. Purchase some black seaweeds, rice from oriental store!. Get some sushi fillings such as chopped up chicken nuggets and wrap it with rice and seaweeds and voila, they have homemade sushi!. Purchase some fresh pomengranate and let them squeeze the red juice into a pitcher with ice and topped with lemon soda and some sugar syrup and they have their Shirley Temple drink !.!.!. very good!. Even though this sounds Mexican, a pinata in an usual shape (perhaps an asian food shape) would be fun!. Chop sticks could make a game, like balance a boiled egg on chopsticks and race (instead of a spoon) and fortune cookies with different clues/birthday blessings switched into them would be fun!. Get a bunch of wooden chopsticks, paint and glitter/rhinestones/etc!. and have them decorate them as "hair chopsticks" then do the kids' hair with them (you would probably find out how to do a simple style with those and it could be a problem since kids with short hair don't really work)!. Have them decorate cheap little "takeout boxes" from the dollar store!. Do a version of Pickup Sticks but with chopsticks!. Make big "fortunes" (write silly/cute messages on colorful paper) and hide them around a room or outside for a "fortune scavenger hunt"!. Rent "Mulan" the movie!. Make up horoscopes and tell each kid their sign and horoscope!.

look up online how to make fortune cookies or go buy some!. go to a party store & look for asian things!. go to an asian market/town and get stuff!. order or buy chineese foods!. make tea!. have them all make their own fortunes!. pinata could work & be fun!. find things with dragons!. they have chinese symbol stickers and stamps at hobby lobby/michaels/jo ann fabrics!. look on ebay!. do a goodle search!.
