Jambalaya: cook up 1/2 chopped onion, 1/2 green pepper in oil, add 8 oz sliced smoked sausage, 2 cups water, 1 cup rice!. Bring to a boil, simmer covered for 15 minutes!. Add 8 oz peeled shrimp!. Simmer 5 more minutes or until shrimp is cooked!. Put it in a covered dish!.

The very best recipe I have for a desert;
Crust:
9oz!. pkg!. vanilla wafers
2/3 stick butter
1tsp rum extract
1/3 c sugar
Mold all together in a 4x8 baking dish
bottom layer:
8 oz cream cheese(softened)
1egg
1/3 c half & half
1/2 c sugar 1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp lemon rind
1/3 stick butter
Blend together thoroughly and pour evenly over crust!.
Bake in preheated oven @350* for 15-20 minutes
Remove from oven, let cool
Toppings (layered):
1 lg can crushed pineapple (drained)
3-4 lg bananas ( sliced thin)
3 baskets strawberries (washed, cored and sliced)
Layer the pineapple first, evenly!. add the layer of bananas and top it off with the strawberries, layered also!. Then take a quart of heavy whipping cream and whip it with 1/4 cup of sugar and 1tsp of vanilla!. Spread over the strawberries, evenly!. This desert is the most heavenly desert I have ever made! Do I have the dish for you! I made this the other night, because I saw it in a recipe magizine!. I have kids and they loved it! When we like something alot, we always say "it's a do again!"!. If you have ever had stuffed cabbage, you will love this dish!. But even if you haven't, I really think this one's a winner! lol

Country Cabbage Soup:
2 lbs ground beef
2 cans (28oz each) stewed tomatoes
1 medium head of cabbage, shredded
2 large onions, chopped
6 celery ribs, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste!. (I also used 8 drops of tobasco sauce)

In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, cook the beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain!. Add the tomatoes, cabbage onions and celery; bring to a boil!. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 25mins!. or until the vegetables are tender!. Add sald and pepper and tobasco sauce!.
Yield :12-14 servings!. About 3 1/4 quarts!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

FRUIT AMBROSIA
2 c!. heavy whipping cream
1/2 c!. sugar
1 tsp!. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp!. almond extract
1 large can mandarin oranges, drained
1-2 cans fruit cocktail, drained
1/2 c!. flaked coconut
3-5 c!. miniature marshmellows
Beat the cream with sugar & extracts until very stiff peaks!. Fold in fruit, coconut & marshmellows !.!.!.!.!. chillWww@FoodAQ@Com

Banana Pudding:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 cups cold water
1 pkg!. instant vanilla pudding
1 pint whipping cream
1 box vanilla wafers
3 bananas, sliced

Whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, water, and pudding mix and chill for 5-10 minutes!. Meanwhile, with an electric mixer (or by hand) whip the whipping cream until stiff peaks form!. Fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture gently!. Layer the cream/pudding mixture into bowl with vanilla wafers and bananas!. Leave a few vanilla wafers for the top to decorate!. Enjoy! Okay, if you do not cook, bring some jack in the box tacos!. About a hundred bucks worth!. I guarantee they will be appreciated!. No use making them suffer and eat your cooking!. I love zucchini salad!.

Cut up the zucchini in slices, mix with Italian dressing, cherry tomatoes, and place in fridge overnight!. Before serving mix in Parmesan cheese!. I like the shredded Parmesan cheese the best!. Zucchini is great cold, it is mild and easily absorbs the flavors of what is in the salad with it!. One of my summer favorites!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

1 lb cooked pasta, throw in some bacon bits, shredded cheese, cooked broccoli, and equal parts mayo and ranch dressing!. Each ingredient is relative to how much looks good in it (eyeball it)!. Add some Nature's Season when your done!. If you like, cut up some hard boiled eggs into it!. I call it Bacon Egg, and Cheese Pasta salad!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't know how unique this is, but it is pretty simple and the guys will scarf it!. It's good old fashioned cookin' made easy(Grandma's recipe)!. I took it to a potluck my future husband was at!.!.!.need I say more!?

Oh, you might want to double it!.

Omi's baked beans

32 oz can pork & beans (cheap brand works just fine)
1 1/2 cups chopped onion
1/2 cup catsup
2 Tblsp prepared mustard
1 Tblsp!. vinegar (apple cider, not white)
1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
1/2 package (1/2 lb!.) bacon, cooked & chopped/crumbled

Mix all ingredients & bake at 375* for 40 minutes!.
