I did this for my nephew and every kid LOVED IT! I called the local fire department and asked them if they would stop by!. I know that they have to take their trucks out every so often so I simply called them! They came over, let the kids on the truck and presented my nephew with a real fire hat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Little kids love themed birthday parties!. If a girl is throwing the party, try princesses!. They could do all the classic party games like pin the tail on the donkey, bobbing for apples, spin the bottle, etc!. Just kidding about spin the bottle! :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

something very popular for that age group is birthday parties at chuckie cheese, at water parks, gymnastics places, that sort of thing!.
best of luck with your book,
