Favors for a fall themed baby shower??!

Question:

Favors for a fall themed baby shower??

My baby shower is on October 28th. I was wondering what would be cute to pass out as favors when the guests leave. I want something creative and cute. I am expecting close to 100 people...

How about a tree sappling? That way guests could plant them, and remember them as the baby grows! And the baby to be could grow up looking at all the wonderful tree's that were given away at his/her shower..same idea could be used with herbs or indoor plant cuttings in very inexpensive pots the dollar store has some cute things for a buck..and can order in large quantities..

What about cookies in the shape of a maple leaf.

get some of those tiny, baby pumpkins, and do some thing cute with them !

Instead of passing out favors when people leave, how about table favors instead? or you can just give the socks away as your guests leave.

Go to a cheapie store - maybe even the dollar store -and buy baby socks and fill them up with jelly-bellies or candy corn. Tie a pink and blue ribbon around the top of the sock (if you don't know the baby's sex yet). The candy will make the sock "stand up" on the table.

You might also find something cute, such as a candy pacifier, to loop through the ribbon at the top.

You could write thank you notes like they came from the baby and not from you. Like "Thanks for all the neat stuff you gave my mommy for me, etc." You could also give out small baby bottles filled with M and M's and tied with ribbons.

You could make your own snow globes, using minature foil or plastic fall leaves, and plastic baby decorations (that's use for cakes).

make necklaces with there name on them get some lace and go to the craft store get letters and thread through the lace these r very cute.
