Do you like eating airliner food?!

Question:

Do you like eating airliner food?

Even though its not the highest standard of food, it smells nice and yummy for me!

Answers:
Actually, yes! Often the food is pretty good, ar least on the airlines I've tavelled on!
My favorite is the hot breakfast. Omelet, potatoes, sausage, orange juice and lots of coffee!

yuck...always have a custom plate waiting ..call in advance

YES!!! YUM!!! i love food on air planes its sooo good!!!

yeah i like it ALOT too....i haven't travelled off late tho, jus pray that i will soon.....:D

Well depends on which airline, I think Qantas food is inedible but British Airways food is good, and so is China Airlines. I'm talking all economy class meals.

some airlines have pretty good food!

What food? If you sit in first class you'll get food.

I recently experienced a nine hour flight from Chicago to Honolulu with no food service from the airline.

I brought my own food on the airplane and it was delicious. Is that what you mean by airline food?

Yeh i love it. Especially when they serve some chicken curry it's yummy. I dont actually touch all of it just the chicken and rice is good for me. :)

That depends on the Airline. I went to Brazil on TAM out of Maiami that food was a lot better than domestic flights.

those meals they dish right after take off are slightly more decent, anything served after that on a long haul flight is consumed with only sustenance in mind.

It's pretty good, but too expensive

What food? You mean that teeny bag of pretzels or nuts? I haven't been served hot food on a plane trip in years! And now to even get a sandwich you have to pony up five bucks.

I've packed my own sandwich and munchies for at least 10 years now.

Airliners try and try to provide service for passengers, and all they do is complain about everything. "My food tastes nasty." "I can't eat this garbage." These are just 2 things I used to hear people say about airline food. It's a good airlines don't even serve meals anymore, this way, the passengers aren't complaining their heads off about it. I say, let'em starve on the flight! If all the passengers wanna do is complain, BRING YOUR OWN FOOD!

i bring my own
though now that's an issue.
i don't like junk food either.
but if you do and don't mind ( you are what you eat )well, next time have mine!

Ew. No, the airline food tastes horrible. Well, I go on United Airlines, and it is really disgusting. So the people saying that the airline foods taste good is probably cause they ride on different airlines

well some people will eat anything when they are hungry, but i'm usually fussy, if i dont like it i wont eat it.

However, I fly KLM a lot more than other airlines, and they have the best food. Even in economy class they serve heated bread rolls, not cold from the fridge like other airlines (transat, etc). their business class service is really good, you choose from a menu and they serve on china dinnerware.

Its good but it also depends on what airline you are traveling by. I think it's good though.

On every flight I have been on lately they have not even served a snack let alone any real food. My son just came back from Hawaii and he told me that you have to buy your own meal now that it is not included in the price of a ticket.

Depending on the airline, the food quality varies. I think it also depends where you travelling from and to. So far so good with the food on United, Singapore Airlines, Philippines, Thai Airways, Northwest and Continental.

I never used to. But lately I flew with KLM to Amsterdam and their food was really awsome and so much that I left some in my plate ! We even got Ben & Jerry ice cream in mid-flight......

I don't know of any european airline that still serves hot food! Nowadays you have to buy a sandwich - if you're lucky!

yes if onboard Thai Airways, Gulf Air only

Most major airlines have discontinued providing on flight full course meals. Like JetBlue for example. I agree, the preheaded dinners have ALWAYS tasted so great when flying across country. It was always moist and sealed to perfection. Part of the reason I like it was because enjoying a warm meal while 30,000 feet above sea-level brings comfort.
