For food you can do what the other posters have mentioned:
Hamburgers and hot dogs with toppings
macorini salad, potato salad, cole slaw,
Baked beans,
french fries,
apple pie

I love the idea of a cake and you can do the sheet cake and ice it in white icing and then do the strawberries as the stripes lined up in rows and the blueberries as the stars and a white cake mix!.

For games, you can do potato sack races, three legged races, wheel barrel races, have fun with the old time fun relay races!

Tug of war!

Set up a volleyball net and play volleyball and badmitten!.

You can do an American trivia and go online for facts and things and ask questions of everyone and the one who gets the most right wins!

You can do a pie eating contest, but instead of pie, fill the tins with whipped cream and whoever finishes first, wins!

For drinks you can do water, lemonade, iced tea, root beer floats, etc!.

You can also do a contest of people decorating hats, whoever does the best hat in an American theme wins, or if you have cubicles, have them decorate their cubicle and then let there be a few judges and whoever they decide is the best and followed the theme most, wins!

For prizes, stick to the American theme too like gift cards for ice cream and things like that!.

You can decorate with red, white, and blue balloons and streamers, etc!.

I hope some of these ideas help and that you have a great party!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could make a big sub sandwich out of loafs of french bread (yes, its american!) and slice it lengthwise - you could pull some of the bread inside one half out to make the sandwich easier to bite into!. Pour on Italian dressing on side and mayo on the other!. Then the fun part!

Add any kinds of lunch meat!. I have done all kinds of combinations, like Salami, Roast beef, Ham, Turkey, then add Sliced American Cheese or Swiss cheese!. Then add slivered Bell Peppers, sliced onions, cucumbers, or any veggies you want!. Slap it together then slice into individual sized sammies!. They are really good (everyone asks for more when I make these - I take them to tailgating parties, football games, hiking, wherever I want and they are always all gone when I am done!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

American football could be fun, you could get little footballs from a party store use them as decoration!. Hamburgers are always good!. Anything red, white and blue!. For a game you could do a pie eating contest, that may be a little messy for an office though!. You could do trivia games and whoever gets the most correct wins a prize!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
