Low budget ideas for Sweet Sixteen party?!?!?!?

I really need ideas. I have no clue what to do. my birthday is in August (@ end) actually, party in first week of September.
I don't live by a beach and my backyard is small with deck and NO FENCE FOR PRIVACY. please help me.
plan on 10 to 12 ppl. boys and girls?
boys leave @ 11 and girls spend night?

Answers:
How much privacy do you really need? You could always hang up some of those yard lanterns, set up a table or two w/ some finger food (sandwiches, chips, cookies, nothing that really requires a plate and fork OR that you should be sitting while eating) and have a themed party where people have to dress up (nerd, western, decades, favorite team, etc.) Add a radio, and it's on!

Is there somewhere nearby where you could have a pool party and a bbq? then you could just do minimal decorating, and mostly pay for food.

Or you guys could go to a few places to eat, one place for appetizers, one for dinner, one for dessert and fun. This way everybody pays their own way plus you and your parents don't have to clean up a mess.

Girls night is always fun. You can do nails, facials, hairstyles. Dress up in wacky styles and take pics. Play goofy games like who can chew the most pieces of bubble gum or who can eat a bowl of ice cream the fastest, things like that. Those are very inexpensive. You all could even go back to childhood games like Candyland and Uno just for the fun of it. There are lots of things to do that are fun but also free.

im having the same issue, but im going to the beach and having a party..
i think being 16 and being given a certain level of freedom, you should ask if you can go to a club, like a teen club and just have fun, afterwards everyone goes back to your place and finish the night....parties at clubs are fun, it feels like an entourage and plus theres almost nothing to clean up and low budget cause eveyone pays there own way
