How about a Pot Roast
It's simple..
ingredients
pot roast
potatoes-peeled and cut into chunks
baby carrots
canned whole green beans-optional
can of cream of mushroom
lipton onion soup envelope
soup can of water
place roast in roasting pan, place veggies around roast, mix soups and water and pour over roast and veggies. cook for about 1-2 hours, depending on size of roast. 400 degree oven. serve biscuits to sop up gravy... Can also cook this in a crock pot for 4-6 hours on low

Don't you know what he likes??? You may want to make something his mother used to make from him and that he hasn't had in a long time. Maybe his favorite childhood dish or desert. Call his family and ask. This would be a great surprise.

It's really nice of you to make something for your boyfriend. If you really don't know what he likes to eat, ask his family. His mother should know.

can you cook??
what does he like??
have you ever cooked a meal for him in 3.5 years??
did you go to school??
who is Oregon??
is he in jail??
have you heard of a restaurant??
oregano is a herb, he might like with pizza
are you going round the bend??

This is what I'd do...and it does blow people away. Start preparing your favorite main dishes, desserts, and breads as soon as possible. Freeze two or more servings of the "best" meals. Plane, train or automobile....take your frozen food and give that man leftovers.....!.....or,,,,go to the grocery store together and decide there....or how about a sirloin roast with a little salt, a whole lotta fresh ground pepper, smothered with fresh garlic, wild mushrooms, King Boletes is excellent, add water halfway up the roast, cover and bake at 250 for about six hours...you want the roast to fall apart. Mash potatoes with gravy made from the juice of the meat and add salt if needed. Homemade bread with homemade raspberry spread....seedless. Vegis and finish off with a thin slice of New York Cheese Cake served with a hint of melted chocolate and a dab of raspberry spread. What ever you decide to do....have a ball in Bend Oregon!
