These are SOOO good!

HASH BROWN HOT DISH
2 lbs!. frozen hash browns, thawed
8 oz!. sour cream
2 cans cream of potato (or celery or mushroom) soup
8 oz!. shredded cheddar cheese
1 onion, chopped
Parmesan cheese
Mix together first 5 ingredients!. Pour into buttered casserole dish (I use 9x13" pan) and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese!. Bake at 300 for 1-1/2 hours !.!.!.!.!.!.!.serves 8-12Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here is a really simple receipe,

2-3 pkgs of cocktail smokies
1 1/2 cups of grape jelly
2 bottles of honey bbq sauce

Mix bbq sauce and grape jelly in bottom of crock pot, add smokies, let cook on high for 3 hours or until very hot!.

Try A Taco Salad

Best made a few hours prior to or the evening before
Combine
Cooked ground beef or ground turkey seasoned with taco seasoning according to directions on package ( a kilo is good)

with
1 head Lettuce torn up or chopped salad style
4 diced tomatoes smaller chunks or use a jar of salsa (mild or medium)
add a regular size bag of corn chips or tortilla chips (crumbled just to break them into bite size pieces)

Then add
Thousand Island or Caesar dressing (a small bottle)
toss the salad to mix it together and set in fridge
add shredded cheese ( !.5 liter or so ) sharp cheddar as a topper when serving or ready to go

Sour cream can be a nice side garnishment

Tuna Noodle Casserole! Just make it larger to suit your potluck needs!.

1 can (10 3/4 oz!.) Campbell's? Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup OR 98% Fat Free Cream of Mushroom Soup
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp!. chopped pimiento (optional)
1 cup frozen peas
2 cans (about 6 oz!. each) tuna, drained and flaked
2 cups hot cooked medium egg noodles
2 tbsp!. dry bread crumbs
1 tbsp!. butter OR margarine


Directions:
MIX soup, milk, pimiento, peas, tuna and noodles in 1 1/2-qt!. casserole!. Bake at 400°F!. for 20 min!. or until hot!. Stir!.
MIX bread crumbs with butter and sprinkle on top!. Bake 5 min!. Serves 4!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Salad with a nice homemade dressing!. Put some nuts and fruits (apples, mandarin oranges, etc) in it!.

Dressing
Good Basalmic Vinegar
Good Virgin olive oil
about 1/2 each to the other
poppy seeds, garlic, fennel seed and some finly diced apple!.
salt and pepper to taste!.
let the dressing sit overnight

Take something that YOU like!. I always take something that I will love to eat (I'm a picky eater!.!.!.) so that way I know there is something there that I will like!.

If kids are going to be there, I always take mac & cheese too!. (I agree with the other poster - kids or not, mac & cheese is a hit!)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Squash casserole is a classic!. Or a Jello mold w fruit!. Very simple!. Or a Waldorf salad -- cut up apples and add raisins and pecans, add some sugar to mayo and use that for the dressing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
