What kind of games to play at a football party?!

Question:

What kind of games to play at a football party?

I am giving my son a sweet sixteen birthday party in Jan. It will be a football themed party as he plays high school football. I am having problems with what games to play. Afterall these will be teenagers. Any idea about what kind of football themed games we could play? Any website links with ideas? When I search for football party ideas I seem to get superbowl ideas.... Thanks

Answers:
set up the xbox- have a tournament - madden 2007
cut some holes in plywood and and have a throwing contest.
flag football - no contact

at 16 i dont know if party games are appropriate - these teens are "too cool" sometimes for that, i would just theme everything football, make a football cake, have cool music - the kids will have fun just hanging out without games.

he is 16...he is not going to want to play the usual kid party games...he is gonna want good music, good food, and you out of the way....im not trying to be rude but, he will be too busy looking at which ladies chose to come to his party and wont want to be bothered with games... ...if you have a backyard or open space somewhere, set him up a portable basket ball goal...they go for about $100 give or take a few dollars....have MTV on the television playing all the latest videos... ...or pop in a dvd of some football highlights...from last year if not from this years NFL teams ... ...throw a couple of footballs in the backyard or where ever so they can pick them up and throw them around....have a table with dominoes or checkers ....young guys seem to feel like men when they play dominoes at parties...-good luck!

pin the tail on the on the cheer leader or spin the football ...
