What's the Best Way to Pack a Hookah Bowl?
I just got my first hookah, and during my first foray into doing it all myself, I found that it was a lackluster smoking experience. I have a four hose hookah, and neither me or my friends had a very good time, although we've had good experiences at hookah bars (where they know what they're doing).
I think I've narrowed down the problem to the fact that I have no idea how to pack a bowl. After looking at the tobacco, it was pretty charred on top. However, I think I may have underpacked the bowl. I had it broken into loose clumps, but not very dense and I could still see the holes on the bottom of the bowl.
Can anyone help to give me some detailed instructions on this specific part of the setup? I'm looking forward to a better second run. Thanks in advance.

In regards to the help peace seeker offered, thank you. I actually bought my hookah from that site and they've been very good. I checked out those tips too, but couldn't find anything specific enough for my needs. I've watched a lot of videos on youtube, but there doesn't seem to be one consistent way of doing it. Maybe I'll just keep trying different things.

I just typed "packing hookah bowl" into my browser and a bunch of websites came up. This was one of them with a buinch of tips and tricks.
Is this something outa the 70's
