Answers:
That's really sweet, Shannon!

Since she's 80 +, I think you shouldn't try anything very energetic. Maybe a card game that she likes will be a good idea. And you could play charades.

Making a cool lemonade or drink would help.

Here are some very easy to make recipes, honeychile :

Perfect Lemonade Recipe

Everybody knows how to make lemonade, right? Squeeze some lemons, add sugar and water. But how to make lemonade so that it tastes right everytime? Here's a surefire method.

Remember the starting proportions - 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of water, 1 cup of lemon juice.

The secret to perfect lemonade is to start by making sugar syrup, also known as "simple syrup". Dissolving the sugar in hot water effectively disperses the sugar in the lemonade, instead of having the sugar sink to the bottom.

In a small saucepan heat the sugar and water until the sugar is dissolved completely. While the sugar is dissolving, use a juicer to extract the juice from 4 to 6 lemons, enough for one cup of juice. Add the juice and the sugar water to a pitcher. Add around 4 cups of cold water, more or less to the desired strength. Refrigerate 30 to 40 minutes.

Serve with ice, sliced lemons.

Berry Banana Smoothie Recipe

1 ripe banana, cut into pieces
2 cups of berries - blueberries (fresh or frozen), strawberries (quartered), or other berries
1/2 cup crushed ice
2 cups plain yogurt
1/4 cup honey

Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

Old Fashioned Pink Lemonade

1 1/4 cup sugar (if using unsweetened cranberry juice, 1 cup if using sweetened)
4 cups water (divided)
1 cup cranberry juice
1 cup lemon juice

1 Make a "simple syrup" by heating sugar and 1 cup of the water in a small saucepan until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat.

2 Stir together the remaining water, cranberry juice, lemon juice and simple syrup. Make adjustments to taste. Chill for an hour, or add ice to cool.

Amazingly Good Eggnog

INGREDIENTS

* 4 cups milk
* 5 whole cloves
* 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 12 egg yolks
* 1 1/2 cups sugar
* 2 1/2 cups light rum
* 4 cups light cream
* 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
* 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

DIRECTIONS

1. Combine milk, cloves, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, and cinnamon in a saucepan, and heat over lowest setting for 5 minutes. Slowly bring milk mixture to a boil.
2. In a large bowl, combine egg yolks and sugar. Whisk together until fluffy. Whisk hot milk mixture slowly into the eggs. Pour mixture into saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly for 3 minutes, or until thick. Do not allow mixture to boil. Strain to remove cloves, and let cool for about an hour.
3. Stir in rum, cream, 2 teaspoon vanilla, and nutmeg. Refrigerate overnight before serving.

HAVE A GREAT HALLOWEEN!!

PS,

Do tell your Gramma that I said that she's really lucky to have such a great cute little button like you for a grandaughter!

Big hug, lil Shannon.

Sounds depressin, you should get your freinds after ward and have a party with them,but back to your grandma's party, play pin the tail on the Donkey,lol

If she's 80 years old that means she grew up around the mid 1920's or 30's right? If it were me, I'd go with a 20's or 30's theme costume ball type party. In my opinion, the style back then was incredible so it would be a lot of fun to dress the way they did for a night.

Find out what stuff your grandma likes for food and drink. Some like coffee or tea, others do appreciate soda, so find out what is her favorite. Don't forget a little sweet treat, if she is diabetic or on a particular type of diet, try to accommodate it. Also, any games she likes to play, many seniors like to play bingo, Penny Ante, kings in a corner, rummy, etc. Finally, invite some people she knows so she'll have a good time.

You are asking the right person. I own a Franchise called The Confectionery & Party Shop in Coorparoo, Brisbane.

We have heaps of halloween things. We have a game which is a bit like Pin the Tail on the Donkey but its a Halloween one.
We have Halloween Balloons, H'ween Napkins, Cups, Masks, Witches noses and fake spider webs that are used in movies and heaps more if this helps.
Go for the orange and black streamers.

Look at www.partyshop.com.au for any other party info and to find more of our shops.
(Finishing with a plug for the shop. Hope you don't mind).
Have a great party!

Umm never heard of someone throwing a party for there gramma on halloween.But I guess pizza and a horror movie would be normal and maybe a little tupac playing in the background would make it even better..my gramma loves 40's and tupac on halloween

ALSO find out what your granny likes to eat as well. HAVE your granny tell stories.RECORD them so you will have them 4 ever.

so is it vegetarian or purreed? Listen ~ I have a 94 yr old Gramma and if you are planning something really sweet Pizza isn't going to cut the mustard. Think in terms of soft kind things not scaring the bee gee bees out of ole grandma. She'll be scaring people from the coffin before you know it. Or was this your plan?

Give her at least four Bloody Mary's to get the party going
