First Birthday Party Menu?!

Question:

First Birthday Party Menu?

My daughter will be having her first birthday party at the end of this month and I will have about 60-90 guests total and trying to come up with a simple menu, that can be as inexpensive as possible. I've come up with hotdogs, hamburgers, chips, dip, veggie tray, potato salad, cake, icecream, can anyone think of anything else that is relatively inexpensive?

I think it'll be pretty even with kids and adults. All the kids we know or our friends' kids are older than her. The closest one in age to her is 3 years old.

The baby will probably eat only ice cream or cake anyway. Ask guests to bring a dish to pass, or have friends/ family/ neighbors help with grilling burgers and dogs. If this gets too complicated or hectic, just order pizza!

WOW. thats alot of ppl. i dont know how expencive this is but if you had chipolte cater, that would make everyone happy. And i kno that their service is really good. but so far your menu sounds pretty good. also u can go to the m and m's web site and order customized m and ms w/ the baby's name on them! ive heard that it doesnt cost too much so i suggest that u check it out.

watermelon chesese dip chips fruit fresh

I think that you have the perfect menu and everything that you have is not expensive....oh try corndogs. You can get it in bulks like at Sam's, Walmart, or Costco. I am not sure about the veggie tray and the potato salad. Because it is a childs party I don't know if the children will be drawn to veggies.

a cheese dip or guacamole maybe??

Don't forget chicken nuggets! You can buy them in a family sized bag in the frozen section and heat them up in the oven. There are tons of frozen goodies that are sold in bulk that young kids really enjoy. Try the pizza bites. You can't go wrong there. Your 1 yr old will probably have a few bites and then just opt for cake & ice cream anyway. Fresh fruit is a good choice too, add some watermelon. The kids will love it and so will the adults. Have a great time!
