Question: What summer food could I put in favors for my aunt's baby shower!?
i'm making little baggies for her baby shower favor and i was going to put chocolates inside but it's summer and i'd rather have a more summer food!. do you have any suggestions!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Things You’ll Need:

* 3 oz cream cheese
* 1 tblsp heavy cream
* 1 lb powdered sugar
* 2-4 drops of peppermint or spearmint oil
* food coloring
* waxed paper

Step1
In bowl, combine cream cheese and cream

Add remaining ingredients and stir well!.
Step3
Twist or roll mixture into long, thin roll and cut into bite-sized portions
Step4
Place on flat baking sheet and let dry for several hours
Step5
Wrap individual mints in waxed paper cut into appropriate sized squares and twist at ends

Using a microwave to melt the candy saves a lot of time and cleanup when making this creamy nut treat!.

Yogurt-Covered Almonds

1/2 pound white almond bark, chopped
2 1/2 cups almonds
1/4 cup plain yogurt

1!. Place almond bark in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on medium, uncovered, for 3 minutes or until melted, stirring twice!.
2!. Stir until smooth and add almonds and yogurt!.
3!. Spoon onto wax paper and spread into an even layer!. Allow to cool before breaking into pieces!.

You can buy bags of M&Ms in custom colors!. I saw some at a party supply store!. They were kind of expensive--$5 per bag, but you could mix 2 colors that match the party's theme!. I know they have baby blue and pink!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
