Birthday party ideass?!

yeah that's all thats happeining!. can you give me ideas to make my party pretty fun!? i don't really want to spend all day in the pool, it would kinda get boring!.

There's SO much you can do!
First, set up some lounge chairs and waterproof cushions around the pool so when you and your friends aren't swimming it becomes a lounge area to hang out around!.
Get an inflatable boat, fill it with ice and put your bottled drinks in it and float it in the pool!. You know, water, soda, juice, etc!. Just make sure to tell your friends that the caps go back into the boat or waaayyy off to the side, the caps WILL break the filter if they put them IN the pool! The boat will make a cool decoration and if anyone wants a drink, they're already in the pool with you!
Get some inflatable beach balls at the dollar store and scatter them around the pool, everyone will end up playing around with them!
In the yard, set up a volleyball net and play volleyball and badmitten!.
Have some water balloon fights
Relay races like potato sack races, three legged races, wheel barrel races, etc!.
You can give each person a big slice of watermelon and do a watermelon eating contest or a pie eating contest, but instead of pie, fill the tins with whipped cream, whoever finishes first wins!
Get an inflatable kiddie pool and fill it with water, or better yet, MUD! Break into 2 teams and have a tug of war, the losing team ends up in the pool! Then you have to hose them off to clean them, don't let them in the pool like that, they'll dirty up the water and the filter won't clean that, make that part of losing! LOL
Set up an ice cream bar!. Get chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream and other favorites and some toppings!. Sprinkles, chocolate syrup, whipped cream and cherries and have everyone make their own sundaes!. You can get waffle cone bowls at the grocery store in the same aisle as the ice cream cones!.
If you're having the party into the evening, set up some clear stringed paper lanterns or Christmas lights!. It will look really nice and instead of having the bright blaring overhead lights, you have the stringed lights to turn on for the party effect!.
You can also play charades and Twister and board games if the other games don't take up the rest of the day!.

You HAVE to have an amazing mix CD of summer songs!. Have one of your parents cook hotdogs & hamburgers!. also!.!.!. I wanted to do this for my birthday: get a giant piece of tarp and cover it with weird things!. For example, I wanted to use jello, and use it as a slip & slide!. It's messy but outrageously fun!. Just be goofy & have a good time:]

Since you'll be in your swimsuits, how about playing other water games, with water guns, water balloons, etc!.!? This could be a lot of fun!.
