1 ? tsp corn syrup
Dash of salt

Milk

Mix cocoa , corn syrup and salt in a mug or cup; add boiling water and stir until dissolved. Dilute with milk.

Hot Apple a Day Toddy

1 cup freshly pressed apple juice
1 TBSP freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 TBSP maple syrup
1 ? tsp freshly ground cinnamon
Dash of nutmeg

Heat the first four ingredients in a saucepan over medium low heat until just about boiling. Stir in the cinnamon and nutmeg and pour into a mug. Garnish with a whole cinnamon stick.

Healthy Hot Lemon Drink

? cup fresh lemon juice
1 cup boiling water
1 tsp. maple syrup (optional)
Dash of cayenne pepper (optional)

melt down some chocolate and mix with small amount of cream. Add a little milk to thin it out and your done. Yum! oh I'm in Australia add real cream and cows milk. I do believe you guys use like coffee cream or something.

You know those drinks that you dilute? try with hot water, mi wadi blackcurrant is pretty nice. Once i mixed strawberry jam with water. Pretty good i have to say

APPLE CIDER!!!! Just take apple cider that you get in the store and put it in a sauce pan...add some cinnamon, maybe some nutmeg and you have a yummy drink! Some people even put a slice of lemon into the pan.

Hot blackcurrant cordial/ juice. Lots of vitamin C.

1 cup milk
2 tsps cocoa
2 tsps sugar
Tasty perhaps some mini marshmallows

Hot soya bean, hot barley. Any other beverage works greatly.

If you need to get some serious rest then heat up some milk with a little honey. The temperature rise in milk releases tryptophan normally not present in cold milk. Tryptophan will make you sleepy and you will get a good nights rest.

Hot Spiced Orange Drink

Ingredients:
1 jar (10 oz) Tang orange powder
2 ounces Lemonade powder
2 cups Sugar
2 teaspoons Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Cloves


Directions:
Mix and store in a covered container.
To use: Combine 2-1/2 teaspoons of mix and 1 cup boiling water.

Spiced Cranberry Cider Mix in a Jar Recipe

Ingredients:
1/2 cup dried cranberries
12 cinnamon sticks
1/2 teaspoon crushed whole cloves
1 tablespoon whole allspice

Directions:

Place the ingredients into airtight jar. Attach this recipe to the jar:
Spiced Cranberry Cider (Serves 12 to 14): 2 qt. apple cider 1 qt. water Contents of cider mix from jar 2 oranges, sliced

In a large saucepan combine the cider, water and cider mix from the jar. Heat thoroughly. Add most of the orange slices. Serve warm, garnished with remaining orange slices.

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups warm water
4 (1 ounce) envelopes instant hot chocolate mix
2 cups vanilla ice cream
1 1/2 cups half-and-half cream
DIRECTIONS
In a blender, combine water and cocoa mix; cover and process until dissolved. Add ice cream and cream; cover and process for 30 seconds or until smooth. Pour into chilled mugs.

Apple cider with whipped cream and caramel on top!

mulled cider...warm cider heated w/cloves and cinnamon sticks...be sure to fish out at end...

steamers--amazing drinks! if you've got a latte machine, just steam the milk and add whatever flavor you want...toroni makes some good syrups...otherwise you might want to consider investing in a stand-alone steam wand...seriously this will make the best hot chocolate you've ever had, and a delicious variety of other drinks (snickers steamers, gingerbread, peppermint patty...etc.) soooo good!

It sounds like you may be catering to a Mormon person or persons. If that is true, hot chocolate may not be the best answer as chocolate contains a fair bit of caffeine, which is not included in a lot of Mormon peoples' dietary repertoire, hence no tea or coffee or even cols drinks. Herbal teas, though, mostly do not contain caffeine and are labelled as such on the packaging. If in doubt, get the teas in a reputable helath food store. Hot apple cider, especially if it is spiced with cinnamon, clove, nutmeg or the like is a very good alternative.
