I do have a great game idea ...and great for decor !!
Buy lots of colorful ballons and write on each small piece of paper a question ....put one paper in each balloon ....as soon as someone pops the balloon they read the question to everyone and answer it !!
I did this - it was great fun !
Have a good party !!
use as much as red colour .
yea red for valentine's day
Then make her a princess for her special day. Buy her an iexpensive tiarra. Have a punch that is sparkling (add Asti or Sprite) light tons of different candles around the home. Buy a bag of flower petals from your local florist and use them to decorate around the candles. There are a million princess type items you can buy to spice up the decor or the food. GOOD LUCK!!
Hmm... a girly party. Well first of all, if you are having a party it may not be a good idea to light a whole bunch of candles depending on how many people you have there. If she is 'girly' as you say, take the colour pink (or her fav colour) and make everything after that theme. Have pink table cloths, plates, napkins, cups, cutlery. Make a pink cake or pink cookies, make pink punch... have pink balloons, pink streamers, etc etc. You can make a lot of foods pnk by adding a little bit a red food colouring. Another thing that you might want to include are small twinkle christmas lights. They give off the same amount of light as a candle and give the room a magical feeling. Oh and make sure you play lots of girly music, love songs, and such.
dip chip
Cocktail party with soft candlelight. Decorate with black-and-white decorations with pink and silver accents. Put vases of fresh pink flowers everywhere.
You want your guests on their feet and mingling, so push couches back to the wall or move them from the room to create more space. Create small sitting areas where guests can break off and engage in small, private convos. Small side tables placed around the room give guests a handy spot to park their drinks.
Set up a bar area and keep it well stocked with booze, juices, mixers, ice, fruit and olive garnishes, assorted glassware, drink stirrers and cocktail napkins. If you don't want to stock a full bar, buy a few favorite liquors and mixers and print out a fancy menu of drink options with the title "Specialties of the House."
