Don't do burgers and hot doogs!. we did that and it was alot of work!. Esp!. becuase its a shower and things tend to be over done; all the condiments we felt like Fuddrucker's!.

Pulled Pork is a great suggestion!. You could do chips & dip, fruit tray, veggie tray for people to graze on!. I'd start the shower at five: serve food, socialize, play games, open gifts and then it would probably be time for the bonfire!.

Email me if you need any game sheets I made Baby shower bingo cards in Excel and I am willing to share!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Buffet Style Baby!. Anything That Will Go into a Crock pot!. Baked Beans, Sloppy Joes, Pulled Pork!.!.!. Make Ahead Sides Such as Coleslaw, Pasta Salad, Seven layer Salad!.!.!. Chips and Dips are Always good!. Make a Fruit Basket the Day Before with a Hollowed Out Watermelon Fill a Bowl with Additional Fruit to Replenish!. Mom's Idea Should Not Be Discounted!.!.!. BBQ pulled pork sandwiches are a great idea! They're very yummy!.

Another idea, as a white meat option, is fried chicken, which you can cook the morning of as well!.

Potato, macaroni, and pasta salad all make great accompaniments =DWww@FoodAQ@Com

Sounds great!. Maybe get it cooking around 7 or 8 am though!. People get hungry when they drink beer!. The Mom to be might be hungry too! I serve my pulled pork with coleslaw!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

slow cooked or crock pot is a good idea if you don't want people to sit at the grill!. However, keep in mind some people may not like pork, so you may want to think about doing pulled pork and pulled chicken bbq!. Or keep the bbq sauce on the side so people can slatther how they want!. As for sides, the less messy the better!. I love using the grill, although you want to keep away from it!. But I would suggest corn on the cob and cut up fruit on a skewer (pending on fruit you can even grill it!)!. Opt for baked potatoes or oven baked fries instead of chips or potato salad!. If you are starting at 2, I would get some munchy foods while people wait to eat, that way you can push dinner up to 6pm!. Get a veggie plate, a fruit dip and fruit plate, and some other finger foods!. Maybe jalepeno poppers to add a little kick!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
