30Th Men's birthday party.?!
I am have n suprize party for my finace's 30th birthday!. I have no idee what to do for the party, He doesn't like theme partys, so that is out of the question!. He loves golf, tennis and the coulor blue!. I have no idee what I am going to do for decor, I don't want to put flowers, coz flowers are for girls!. this is my first party and I don't want to mess it up!. The parents are going to be there and I am the jongest of everybody in his friends sircle, I don't want to embarres hem infront of everyone!. Can any one pls help with any idee!. And how to show all of them I may be jong but can throw one hell of n party!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Being he loves the color blue, decorate with that color, do the balloons and streamers, tablecloths, etc in that color!. You can even go monochromatic which is blue tones, dark blues, light blues, have all different shades of blue which will look really nice!. Unless he has one specific blue color that's his favorite, then just do the one color with white, but if he likes blue do the different shades of blue with white!. It will look really classy and cool too!
Then you can do the napkins in a lighter blue tone, etc!.
For the centerpieces on the tables, there's different things you can do!. You can get vases and put different tons of blue glass beads like from the floral dept!. of the craft store in them and then put a white pillar candle in it!. Or you can go with his hobbies and alternate tables and on one table put something related to tennis and on another table something related to golf, etc!.
What you can do is get big clear vases and on certain tables, fill the vases with tennis balls, and on other tables, fill the vases with golf balls, make sure they're new and clean though (he can use them after the party when he plays) and then you can put some toy tennis rackets/golf clubs in there, spray paint them to make them look somewhat real!. You don't want pink ones, you want them to look somewhat real, so spray paint them silver/black, etc!. It's common sense to everyone there that you're not going to have real ones so do what you can!. You can even find smaller versions of the real thing at the sporting goods sections of Target and Walmart, and put them in there!
You can also just go with the blue theme, you don't have to have all of his hobbies incorporated into the party!. The monotones of the blues and the clear vases with the beads of blue and the candles will look very classy!. You can even get a wide blue ribbon and tie it around the base of the vase!. I wouldn't light the candles though unless you know that the crowd won't knock anything over and that it's safe to keep them lit!.
What you can do too is get those chocolates that are wrapped to look like sports balls, some are wrapped in foil like tennis balls and others like golf balls, you can get them and get some vases and put them where the food is and have them out at dessert time, or have them at the tables during dessert time or have them in little bags as favors with hershey hugs and kisses, this way the hug and kiss are your way of giving everyone a hug and kiss for coming and the golf ball and tennis ball are his touch of his hobbie!. People may wonder why they're there though!.

You can also put little scenes on the middle of the tables and make that the centerpieces!. Have a golf cart with a figurine of a man and some fake grass on one table and then next table make a tennis court, then do the raquets on another table, see what a florist can come up with when it comes to the themes!.

just put some banners with 30 year old on around the room and balloons with 30 on and some party streamers get a disco or kariokie it will be a good party u dont need fance things just haveing famliey there is all he needsWww@FoodAQ@Com
