Question: How can I make a guitar cake!?

you can make your own form to bake regular cake mix in!. get a large piece of hard foam from the craft store and carve it into the shape you want (try not to get too intricate in your design- it may not show well, just get the general shape going)!. get some heavy duty foil and form it around your mold- press it into is as best you can!. then remove the foam mold and flip foil upside down and place extra foil around the edges to make more stable- put on a large cookie sheet and fill and bake as directed with cake batter!. let cool completely before removing from mold and frosting!. get crazy with the decorating too- use licorice pieces as the strings and other candies to decorate it- find a picture to work off of!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here is a really good cake of mine, its called 7up cake and its REALLY good!


1 1/2 cup Butter, softened
3 cups Sugar
5 Eggs
3 cups Flour
2 teaspoons almond or vanilla extract
3/4 cup 7UP
Confectioner's sugar

Cream butter and sugar until smooth!. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition!. Add flour, almond or vanila extract, and 7UP; mix well!.

Pour into greased angel food (or bundt) pan!. Bake 325F for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done!. Let stand for at least 10 minutes before removing from cake pan!. Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Remove absolutely all the metalwork first or your blender will be screwed!. I find a lot of icing is always a winner!.it hides a lot of shortcomings ,like burnt bits!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
