A place that will host 9 Year old Tea Party in Bay Area/Peninsula? 4-6 girls?!

Question:

A place that will host 9 Year old Tea Party in Bay Area/Peninsula? 4-6 girls?

Cannot host the party at our place (we are in a small apartment while our house is being remodeled). I am looking to host 4-6 girls, totally traditional but not stuffy tea party/birthday party. Any advise would be helpful. Thanks!

This may help. but also contact some of your upscale hotels, Many have high tea and are more than happy to accomedate children. Is there an American Girl Doll Store in SF? If so, it's a GREAT place for this sort of party.
Good luck & have fun!

I would think any nice hotel that offers tea could customize something for your needs. I know the Ritz-Carlton has afternoon tea; is there one in your area? (Bay Area? Is that SF, CA?) You may try other large chains w/ fancy digs downtown, or locally-owned B&B's.

I would rent a cheap hotel room just for like 1 night. (just make sure they dont have roaches ?)

Hmmm. Don't live in the area but have an idea...
Are there any nice hotels that have suites? For what you are going to rent at a place, and what they probably like that age, I would do like a mock spa party for them...
The cool thing is that afterwards they can watch movies, eat pizza, and have a sleepover in a killer hotel.

I don't have a 9 year old, but my concept of a tea party isn't what I am thinking would be fun. Maybe I am wrong.

I would make gift bags with creams, and nail stuff, and hair clips and stuff that they'd like. I would hire a couple women from the hotel to come do nails and hair.

My niece had someone come to her party that taught the group of girls to make necklaces that they all wear... also each girl got a cute pink robe with her goody bag.
