I want to throw an unforgetable bachlorette party.. any ideas?!

Question:

I want to throw an unforgetable bachlorette party.. any ideas?

I'm the maid-of-honor at my sister's wedding in September but I don't turn 21 until October. I want to throw her a fantastic bachlorette party but my options are pretty limited with the age barrier. I could get a fake ID easily but I'm not sure If I want to risk getting caught. Has anyone either thrown or been to a really great party that wasn't in a bar?

Congratulations on the big honor! I just threw a bachelorette weekend. If you are underage I am not suggesting that you drink, but it sounds like your sister is older than you and so her friends might be of age. We had a weekend of wine tasting, fun dinners, dancing, and one night we stayed in. All of the guests said that their favorite night was the night that we stayed in! We threw a grown up slumber party- everyone dressed in their comfy pj's and sweats, we ordered food in (or you could have it potluck style, but it is less stress on you to probably just order it). We had wine, beer, mixed drinks, and told stories about the bride and also threw her a lingerie shower, so everyone gave her something fun or racy to bring on her honeymoon. It was relaxed and we even had a blast doing fun dance moves and generally being fun and silly. You can easily do this by booking a hotel room or two for the night, or use someone's home or apartment. That way it keeps the fun and private, and you don't have to worry about being underage. Plus all of the girls appreciated being able to let their hair down and be comfortable!

I am sure your sister will definitely understand that you can't host it at a bar or 21 and over restaurant/club since you are only 20. Try asking one of her friends who is 21 if she will help you- she can buy the drinks or set up the alcohol options and you can work on the other things.

You can have it at a good restaurant, a fun place like Chili's or Outback...those that have the choice of drinking can, and you can abstain and have virgin drinks that will taste just as good. You will feel better than anyone else the next day. Some have separate banquet rooms just for this kind of thing. Have fun!

Just have a Donky show... You'll love it and never be the same again!!!!!!!!!! lol...

I've thrown a lot of bachelorette parties at my home or at a friend's place and actually turned out better that way. Just have a specific theme and decorate the place accordingly and have a potluck. Just make sure to coordinate your menu. Having it at home lets you have the liberty to do whatever you want (if you want it raunchy, get a stripper) and maybe if your sister's friends get too hammered, they can all just wait it out there...because at home, the bar doesn't close at 1am!

I had a bachorlette party that was a blast . there was some age difference and I live near Washington DC. So we took a tour cruise on the Potomac. Those that could drink did, and those that didn't of course did not but it didn't matter because we had so much fun just being together! There was a dance floor and the scenery was fantastic.

its ok your not missing out on anything exept or magheritas they are soooo good!!! but wine, champeighne and beer are nasty!
