Party Planning Advice. Please Help?!?
I need ideas on arranging a very upscale and classy surprise party for hubby's 35th birthday. I only have a little over a month to get this event up and running. Anyone have any ideas?

Check with some of the nicer clubs, restaurants, resorts in your area. A lot of them have private rooms that you can host a great party. They also have staff that can do everything for you, from food, drinks, themes & decorating. If you do it @ a hotel or resort you can get cheaper room prices to invite your guests to stay so no D.U.I's. Good luck. Happy b-day hubby : )
do a theme of a party something that he likes like say he likes cars do a car theme say he likes money! do a party where its all about money and tell the guest that are going to be at his party to bring him money instead of a gift
I would go to foodnetwork and pick a theme based on the food.
For a friends party this past weekend, very upscale, it was on the water, she got a nice caterer and it was a cuban theme party. There were mojitos everywhere... it was awesome.
Why not pick one of his favorite restaurants and hold it there. They will do most of the work, and cleaning up that way. If you're having a party at a restaurant there really isn't much else you would need to plan. As far as inviting people, just have some invitations made, maybe with a younger picture of him on them and make sure to ask people to only RSVP to an email address or a phone number there is no way he would catch on to!
