What food can I serve for a 60th birthday party?!

Question:

What food can I serve for a 60th birthday party?

A family friend is turning 60 this year and we want to have a nice luncheon party for her. What do you suggest for food that is easy to make but delicious?

Answers:
serve her favorite food.
seriously.
it will be a memorable day.

: D

pop coffee.tea,milk.punch with sprite.

Mashed potatoes , gravy , Jello...none of those geezers have their teeth probably anyway....no no no just kidding....One of Her favorites, after all shes the birthday girl and its really all about her right ?

A fruit salad always entertains everybody, also salsa and muffins!

Metamucil soup,Mylanta smoothies and Geritol Jello mold.
LOL
Sorry I had to say that...I shouldn't talk I'm getting up there myself...
LOL
Anyway...
If it's a surprise party you may want to do some snooping and find out if she has any diet restrictions.
If she knows about it ask her what she would like to eat on her birthday...knowing her diet restrictions may help there also seeing she may want something she's not supposed to have.

Serve what ever you want OR ask her if she has a preference. If its ladies only I suggest a good chicken salad served on croissant rolls. Dress up hte chicken salad with some sliced green grapes and perhaps some walnuts. That makes a nice attractive and good tasting sandwich. Serve with a pickle.

shrimp rice

Cobb salad with crunchy french bread, a nice light white wine.

serve there favorite food or order pizza and wings if they like it,,saves on the cleanup
