I'm turning 16 in june and i want to party?!

Question:

I'm turning 16 in june and i want to party?

I want to have a big party but i don't have a big house for parties. I want to have a party that my friend's won't forget but i don't want to have a huge extragvagent party.
Does anyone have any ideas for an unforgettable party? And if you've had a successful party with a unique idea then can you tell me what you did?
Thanks

Several things you need to keep in mind:

1. Budget for the whole thing
2. Who's paying for your shindig
3. Who's house are you wanting to hold it in
4. Are Mommy and Daddy ok with the above 3?

Ok, first of all, no more reruns of "My Sweet Sixteen" on VH-1. Secondly, your party doesn't have to be the talk of the town to be unforgetable. Third, you want to celebrate with your most favorite people as opposed to the whole school. And fourth, you want to have fun!

Think about what you're interests are and work a theme around it. If you're not sure, think about a favorite fantasy and see if you can emulate it. Second, plan what time of day you want your party to be and what foods you'd like to have. Third, decorations? These will add to your overall expenses, so its a good idea to get them nailed down early on. Here's a thought:
Plan a summer evening in the back yard. Rent a dance floor and maybe a gazebo for the event or tent. Decorate with lots of miniature white lights to give it a fantasy feeling. Have candles lit where they won't catch anything on fire. Hire a DJ to play your favorite music, or if that doesn't work, hire your little brother to dress up and play the tunes you love. Have some great food and fun!

HAVE Some Big Club party

chuck e cheese

Do you live near like a club or a nice hotel?? You can have a party there and hire a really good DJ. If you want it to be unforgettable then have a lot of fun entertainment. If you want, have your guests dress up so they would have to prepare for your party (It makes them remember it). And at school DON'T LET THEM FORGET IT!!!!!!!!! And make sure you have a certain theme (if you want)!

Go to a Big Lot's (or similar store)

They tend to have cheap costumes available in bulk quantities.

My friends once bought a flat of pirate get ups, giving each person a bandana, a fake clip on earring, and an eyepatch.

We had a blast.

Just do it...don't forget to invite me
