What are some awsome ideas for a surprise 30th Birthday for my partner??!

What are things that your partner is interested in!? Play up to those interests and hobbies as a theme for the party - for party favors, decorations, music, food, cake, etc!.
FOR EXAMPLE, if your partner is really into Sci-Fi movies and shows decorate the place where you are having the party with space type things or with something that is reminisce of their favorite show or movie; have the guests come dressed as their favorite characters from your partner's favorite movie or show; make a cake or have a cake made that looks like a space ship or something like that!.
Serve your partner's favorite food(s) - if s/he likes BBQ, have a cookout with burgers, Brats, hot dogs, chicken, ribs, potato salad, coleslaw, BBQ/baked beans, watermelon/fresh fruit salad, etc!. Make sure the cake is their favorite type of cake - or for something different, serve their favorite pie with ice cream, whipped cream and assorted toppings!. Have a Hawaiian Luau, Beach Party or Picnic theme!.
Make sure the music you select is both something that goes with the theme of the party and is something that your partner likes - stuff from his or hers favorite singers/groups, movies, shows, composers, etc!. It would not be good to play classical music if they are really into heavy metal!.

For my 30th, a ton of my friends and family threw me a under ware party!. Everyone brought different types of under garments, all different sizes!. From diapers, training pants, thongs, reg!. under ware, huge under ware, etc!.!.!.!.(even had adult depends)
Everything was clipped onto a old fake Christmas tree!. They hired a comedian, and we just had a blast!. Lots of food, drink, music and laughter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you mean a theme, you're probably the best one to choose based on his/her interests!. For my husband's 50th, I invited out of town friends, paid for their transportation and arranged a special room rate at a motel around the corner!. Then had a BBQ, a trip to the casino, a trip to a late night comedy club and then a brunch the next morning before everyone left to travel!.
