We are having a princess tea party for my Daughter's party...Food Ideas Needed!?!

Question:

We are having a princess tea party for my Daughter's party...Food Ideas Needed!?

I want everything to be themed, yes I know Im picky! Does anyone have any ideas on food items that can be served? I am going to make little cards for each food item with the names on it and I want them to be original...thanks!

Answers:
Centerpiece is the castle cake ,princess foods Jasmine's jelly sandwiches; Cinderella's cheese chunks; Ariel's watermelon, Belle's bugles, Sleeping Beauty's chocolate dipped strawberries & Snow White's apple slices (these were only prepared at the last minute (only cut up two to start) as the other princess food is announced and displayed on the table.

What to serve:
High tea makes a great theme. Finger sandwiches, mini-cakes, delicate cookies served on gold paper plates, or cover plates with doilies.

i dont think anyone can answer this question without you stating your daughter's age, your location, and people DO have alergies you know, assuming IF your daughter is a kid... lol also date will be of help if theme is to be involved..

You could make a castle cake or cupcakes with pink icing with colored sprinkles and candy stars and hearts on them. Strawberries with chocolate dip, sparkling apple or grape juice, mini muffins. Make sandwiches of any variety and then use a star, heart or crown shaped cookie cutter to cut a shape out of the sandwich for a fun touch.

Hmm.. let's see. I would say that small finger sandwiches, cookies, cut up fruits, all would be good choices. Maybe, if you wanna get real decorative, some individual small cakes or truffles for each child.

As for names: a little harder... let me think on those.

-angel cake
-tea
-cupcakes
-maybe cheesecake
-sandwiches or something

i dunno maybe some home cooked food, or just go with pizza.

Her daughter is going to be two and kids are anywhere from 2-4ish. No food allergies.
