Cover tables with black cloth, velvet would be lush but very expensive, with little plastic diamonties shrewn across it!.
Pick out a selection of black sweets like wine gums, liquorice, fruit pastels!.
You could make a punch drink, just add lots of cokes to make it darker!.
A cake with black icing and indoor sparklers on top!.

I'm assuming you mean an "Over the Hill" party!.!.!.!. lol!.!.!.!. Bring plastic black tablecloth material!.!.!.!.!. order a sheetcake with black icing and get a tombstone candle!.!.!.!. You can go to any party supplier or Micheals and get black balloons, black crepe paper, napkins etc!.
