I used to attend of a lot of these kind of parties when younger. They were always fun and I usually bought something to make my life easier (Tupperware) or make me prettier (Beauticontrol).

Fun way to get together with friends and make new ones. Pampered Chef is also an interesting way to learn new kitchen techniques and get great entertaining recipes.

I attend a party close to it. I told myself that i was just going to buy one thing to be nice, but they had all kind of martini. With gin or vodka it was crazy. I ended up buying everything. Don't drink.
