If you assume that both spoons are for eating, a dessert spoon is old -fashioned!. It was a bit smaller than a regular spoon, which is what I think you mean by "table spoon!." (not to be confused with the measuring tablespoon)!. Nowadays, regular spoons are identified as "dessert spoons" by manufacturers to differentiate them from soup spoons!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
